Getting Started – How do I add a Picture?

Please note before getting started. The Trophy Room Logo always brings you back to Home.

If you have pictures already saved to your camera roll, touch Add Picture, Choose From Library, Camera Roll and select the picture you want to add. Choose a category Fishing or Hunting. Enter all of the information you know about your trophy. Then Save Photo.

If you do not have any fishing or hunting pictures in your camera roll you can email one to your iPhone, save it to your cameral roll and then follow the steps above.

You can add new pictures by taking them through Trophy Room or just use the camera function and then add them to Trophy Room afterwards.

What do the Symbols mean after I save the picture?

Add FavoritesAdd Favorites

You can select one or more categories to have this picture set as the favorite and then save. It will be the first picture seen in the categories selected. If you do not set favorites, the last picture you enter will default as the favorite of all related categories.

How do add an Angler or Hunter?

Touch Angler or Hunter then the + button and using your iPhone keyboard type in the person’s name. You can choose to use first name only, first and last, nickname’s etc. You will only have to add each person once. Note: You will have to use the shift key for a capital letter in the last name.

How do I add a Species?

There are over 300 species listed in both the fishing and hunting categories. You can add species by touch Species, then +, and using your iPhone keyboard type in the species you want to add. You will only have to add each new species once. Note: Species are listed by their proper names, i.e. Mackerel, king and not common names like Kingfish.

How do I add a Location?

Touch Angler or Hunter then the + button and using your iPhone keyboard type in the person’s name. You can choose to use first name only, first and last, nickname’s etc. Note: You will follow the same steps for adding a Boat Name or weapon.

How do I delete a Picture?

View Pictures and find the picture you want to delete. Choose (Need pencil image) Edit and then garbage can (need image). You will be asked to confirm that you want to by choosing Delete or if you don’t want to delete it, Cancel.

How do I create a snapshot of Picture With Details?

Go into the picture and choose the i button so the information is overlaid. To take a snapshot of your “Picture With Details”, quickly press the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously. Do not hold them down long. You will hear a snapshot taken of your picture and see a white flash. Press your main iPhone button and go into your iPhone Camera Roll. The picture will appear there. Note: This is a function of your iPhone and not a part of the Trophy Room App.

Troubleshooting Tips

If you are having trouble with your Trophy Room App, please make sure that your iPhone is working properly. You can do a hard reset on your iPhone. Hold the Home button (big circle below the screen) and the Sleep/Wake button (on top of the iPhone) simultaneously. Continue holding both buttons (Ignore the “Slide to power off”) until the iPhone shuts off and begins to restart. You may let go when you see the silver Apple logo. You have completed a hard reset successfully. Note: Don’t be alarmed that it takes quite a while to load from the Apple logo to the main screen. This is normal.
